Tricolor – Made in France

It is an honor that I was invited as a designer to take part in the Tricolor project / Made in France / Première Vision!

The exhibition was put in the center of the Made in France / Première Vision salon, which took place on 3-4 April at Carreau du Temple in Paris. It was the result of an initiative to encourage a series of collaborations between the world of design and the French wool industry in order to bring it to the foreground and give a new life.

Creative specialists and professionals – will share their views and commitments to together redefine the technological, economic and creative potential of French wool. This natural, luxurious and eco-friendly material meets the current needs of brands, designers and consumers who are more than ever seeking meaning, quality and traceability.

Tricolor was made possible in collaboration with Made in Town, a consulting platform specialized in the valorization of know-how and local manufacturing.

Tricolor Wardrobe

I was specifically took part in the Tricolor Wardrobe part of the project, where the organization invited 60 “brands and designers, major and emblematic actors of the sector, who proudly carry the values of local manufacturing” to contribute with unique creations (from clothes, shoes, accessories, even furniture!) using a gamme of French wool. (see all the invited brands at the last link)

For this purpose, I created a wool-made look consisting of a coat with elegant openings at the sleeves and round-shaped pockets, and a belt decorated with a macrame design made out of the same wool and silk details.

See below the result and dont forget to spread the world with a share!
