This is a special scarf, part of the "Anadromi" collection that is an ode to Avgousta's island of origin, Cyprus. In  this collection, Avgousta creates geometrical motifs that have as structural elements the two parts of Cyprus, the free and the occupied one, aiming to remind that her country is still divided in two parts since 1974 due to the Turkish invasion and occupation. The message is against any type of division or occupation, and the urgent need for peace.

This specific design is composed by the occupied part of Cyprus. The repetition of this part results in a series of locks. Searching for the key of freedom to fit in this locks...
