This one-of-a-kind scarf collection, initiated in This one-of-a-kind scarf collection, initiated in 2018, was the first of its kind to transform personal initials into an evolving design system. Created by Avgousta Theodoulou, the collection features emblematic motifs and intricate designs based on her Greek initials, Α and Θ. These symbols serve as foundational elements in a series of scarves that are never discontinued, an incremental collection that evolves over time, making each piece timeless and collectible. “Garden of Flowers” This particular scarf, in “Garden of Flowers” This particular scarf, inspired by the theme of occupation, features a pattern composed of the two parts of Cyprus: the Occupied and the Free. The arrangement of these sections within the scarf’s design aims to create a unique flower that symbolizes hope, conveying an optimistic message of freedom. The petals forming the outer structure of the flowers are derived from the free part of Cyprus, depicted in a light color. At the heart of the flowers lies the occupied area, represented in black—smaller in size, melancholic, symbolizing the passing years, as the issue of occupation fades into the background, remaining unresolved. The elements of the flower unite and bloom, reminding everyone that only together can they exist, bringing life, and hope to the garden.
