This is a special scarf part of the “Anadromi” collection that is an ode to Avgousta’s island of origin, Cyprus. In  this collection, Avgousta creates geometrical motifs that have as structural elements the contour shapes of the two parts of Cyprus, the free and the occupied one (a result of the Turkish invasion in 1974 that lasts to date), as well as the shape of the whole island. The message is against any type of division or occupation, and the urgent need for peace. This specific design is composed by only the free part of Cyprus.
